Getting started

• Access to the nio System Designer.

For best results, it's recommended that new users proceed through the workshops in the following order:

• Mobile Phone System Template—the fastest way to see nio in action. Quickly add your mobile phone as a sensor in a pre-built nio system.

• System Designer Workshop—a step-by-step introduction to nio's drag-and-drop user interface that lets you create and manage nio solutions.

• Virtual Plant Workshop—demonstrates a real-world distributed system with a locally installed nio instance.

• nio 101—goes step-by-step through some of the most important concepts within nio.

Video tutorials are short, informative explanations of common tasks such as creating systems, instances, and services and building with blocks.

live sessions

Live sessions are recordings of live, online broadcasts by niolabs engineers. Watch them build services and design solutions in real time as they explain core nio concepts in depth.
